She leads the training of teachers and classroom support staff in evidence-based strategies for supporting autistic learners.

Ashley Parkins, Ms. Ed (Severe Autism), ABA is a Board Member of Autism Education Kenya. She is an Educational Coordinator at the New England Center for Children (NECC) where she brings deep expertise in inclusive education and evidence-based intervention. In addition to her direct work with students and families, Ashley is passionate about mentoring trainee special education teachers, helping to build strong, compassionate educators equipped to support diverse learners through research-driven best practices.  Her work is grounded in a strong commitment to empowering individuals with autism and supporting families and educators through thoughtful, research-driven practices.

Mrs. Masai, BA, SNE brings over three decades of experience and leadership in inclusive education. She currently serves as a head teacher at Kwakaleli Primary and Junior School, a school based in rural Kenya, where she is committed to ensuring that students of all abilities, including learners with special needs, have access to supportive and equitable learning environments. In addition, she serves as a women’s representative with the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT), advocating for the empowerment of female educators and stronger support systems within the education sector. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing inclusive education and helping every child reach their full potential.

Brian .M. Mwololo, B.Sc in Applied Computing is the System, Website Administrator and ICT professional at Autism Education Kenya(AEK). He manages the organization’s digital infrastructure and web presence, ensuring high-level system maintenance, security and performance. He also oversees the publication and accessibility of vital autism awareness and educational resources for the public

Joel Ndulu Muthoka, SNE is a dedicated Special Needs Educator since 2019 in Kitui County, Kenya. Joel a is passionate child rights advocate committed to protecting vulnerable children and advancing inclusive education. Beyond the classroom, Joel is a motivational speaker and author of inspirational works, including The Orphan Tears and The Forgotten Sons. Joel brings hands-on classroom experience working with learners with diverse needs, particularly in under-resourced settings. He contributes practical, low-cost teaching strategies that support inclusive learning  for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. His background in community engagement and youth empowerment also strengthens outreach efforts, raising awareness and promoting acceptance of autism within local communities.
